Architecture and Town Planning in Colonial North America

Although mostly focused on the American colonies, volume one contains a section entitled "The French in Terre-Neuve and Acadie, 1605-1763," which deals with a number of French fortifications in New Brunswick. Volume three includes a chapter entitled "The Maritime Colonies: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, 1713-1815," which examines colonial town planning, military architecture, churches, and houses in southern New Brunswick.
