Description

Dominion Architect Fuller designed imposing and sturdy buildings for the federal government in the final decades of the 19th century, imparting a sense of cultural connection ad strong Canadian nationhood. Four of his nine New Brunswick post offices survive, in Bathurst, Miramichi (Chatam), St. Stephen, and Sussex. These are described and illustrations are included.
