The Archaic of the Far Northeast

A collection of fourteen papers describing and integrating Archaic period (ca.  9500-3000 years before present) Indigenous histories across northern New England, Atlantic Canada, and adjacent Quebec (the Fr Northeast). Important sites (e.., Cow Point), lithic materials, and diagnostic artifacts from New Brunswick are integrated into analyses of burial ceremonialism,   cultural and technological patterning, and lithic raw material sourcing.
