The Cow with the Musical Moo and Other Verses for Children

The Cow with the Musical Moo consists of four poems: "The Cow with the Musical Moo," "Wondering," "The Cat with the Fancy House," and "The Twilight Elf." Each poem has multiple stanzas and is reminiscent in style to children's verses by Robert Louis Stevenson and Eugene Field. The back cover signals Wardell's plans for the Beaver Book imprint. In the centre is the beaver symbol with "Beaver Books" in large uppercase letters under it. Beneath that is a list of Pacey books in press or to come: The Cow with the Musical Moo, Hippity Hobo and the Bee, and The Dog with the Crinkly Ear. 

Availability: Fair. UNB Libraries owns multiple copies of both books. They also remain reasonably available in library catalogues and through the used book trade.
