Certainly not considered a centre of modernist design, Fredericton nonetheless has four excellent examples of mid-century modern architecture: the University of New Brunswick's Memorial Student Centre (1955), the Beaverbrook Art Gallery (1959), St. Anne's Anglican Church (1962), and the Centennial Building (1967).
