Two contemporary New Brunswick houses at very different ends of the material and conceptual spectrum are part of this ten-project feature: the 'Into the Wild' house in north end Saint John by Acre Architects, and the Kingston Peninsula's off-grid Terra Berma Project made of rammed earth, cob, and used tires.
