The Beaverbrook Art Gallery expanded with a large contemporary addition by Halifax-based MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects. The new pavilion includes lofty gallery spaces, a café, education centre, multi-purpose room, artist-in-residence studio, and other amenities.
