Description

John Cunningham (1792-1872) is considered one of the first veritable "architects" in New Brunswick. Trained as a stonemason, he would go on to design some of the province's most important buildings, such as the 1829 Saint John County Courthouse, the 1832 Charlotte County Gaol, and the 1836 Queen's County Courthouse.
