Description

Frost was an American-born immigrant who practice carpentry and architecture in the Miramichi area and western New Brunswick, following the Great fire of 1825 which consumed much of the area. Adept at the Neoclassical style, he built a number of notable structures, including the old Northumberland County Courthouse in Newcastle and many since-demolished wooden buildings, some of which are listed and depicted here.
