Nova Scotia Military History: A Resource Guide

New Brunswick references are found in sections on early military history. One section is specifically focused on New Brunswick and PEI (select titles), and another on forts and fortifications, including Fort Beauséjour. Section IX contains a four-page listing of "Statutes Concerning Military and Militia Matters Passed by the Legislative Assembly of Nova Scotia," with several of these enacted before 1784 when New Brunswick was still part of Nova Scotia.
