Forty-five Years at the Keyboard of a Typewriter: A Bibliography, July 1934 - June 1979

Born on Grand Manan Island, Ingersoll was in his lifetime a dentist in the military, a teacher and school principal, a prolific writer and contributor to magazines and newspapers, and an amateur historian, among other things. He was Curator, Department of Canadian History, at the New Brunswick Museum (1969-1972). He served Grand Manan and the province of New Brunswick on many boards and as a member of many organizations, and was posthumously awarded the Order of Canada.
