This thoroughly annotated and illustrated history of the first one hundred years of the federal Department of Public Works covers myriad architectural styles and building types throughout Canada. New Brunswick examples are described and depicted. Interestingly, many New Brunswick "twin" structures exist throughout the country as the department often used matching plans or matching purposes, geography notwithstanding.
