Robert A.M. Stern: Buildings and Projects, 2004-2009
Publication Details
Stern is considered one of the leading architects in the world. His career was established with a series of notable Shingle style houses in the eastern United States. He went on to design major commercial and academic buildings throughout North America, as well as the George W. Bush Presidential Library. In the mid-2000s, Stern was hired to design a large waterfront headquarters for the Saint John-based Irving Oil company. This monograph contains the renderings and plans of the proposed Long Wharf development, which unfortunately never came to fruition. A second New Brunswick project of Stern's from the same time, this one completed, was a sensitive renovation to a mid-19th century Italianate residence in Saint John.
