Hippity Hobo and the Bee, lists copyright as 1952; however, it was not released officially until 1953. Like its predecessor, The Cow with the Musical Moo, the book consists of separate poems: "Hippity Hobo and the Bee," "The Cat and the Mouse," "Sounds," "Over the River," and "If I Weren't Me." The volume is again illustrated by the Rohlicek and Horejs. The back cover is the same as that used for The Cow with the Musical Moo, the only difference being that one title has been added to the list of Pacey's available and forthcoming books: Hippity Hobo and the Bear.
