Rev. Harold Ernest Allaby
1915-1989

Harold Ernest Allaby was a United Baptist clergyman born in Truro, Nova Scotia on 11 February 1915. He was the son of Rev. Henry Emmerson Allaby. He had his early education in Woodstock, New Brunswick, then attended Acadia Divinity College in Wolfville, NS, graduating with a B.Div. in 1941. Allaby served as a United Baptist minister in many parishes in New Brunswick, including Millville, Jacksonville, Woodstock and Minto.  By 1958 he is the Baptist minister in Burgessville, Ontario and in 1962 he is living in Hamilton.  He died 10 March 1989 and is buried in Ontario.
