Barry John Grant
1972-1993
Barry John Grant was born in 1927 and attended Oromocto school, Fredericton High School, and the University of New Brunswick. He worked as a newsman for The Daily Gleaner and others, as a civil servant, as a teacher, and at UNB Libraries where he created indexes to various publications, including The Royal Gazette. He wrote books, including Six for the Hangman (1983) and When Rum was King (1984). He died on 28 March 19983 in Fredericton.
