Grace Lydia Aiton
1888-1963

Grace Lydia Aiton was born in Sussex, New Brunswick on 2 August 1888. Aiton attended University of New Brunswick and graduated in 1912. She was known for the local histories she wrote, including The Story of Sussex and Vicinity, and for articles in the New Brunswick Historical Society Collections. She died in Sussex  on 11 June 1963 and is buried in Kirkhill Cemetery.
