Claude Renaud
1948-

Claude Renaud was born in Shediac (NB) in 1948, where he attended high school.  He continued his studies at the Université de Moncton and obtained a Bachelor of Arts. Renaud wrote and published several stories which later helped him write his film La Confession, Souvenir d'un écolier (ca. 1974). He also wrote Sacordjeu! (1978), published by Éditions d'Acadie in Moncton, New Brunswick in 1979. "Sacordjeu" is a play that uses a common Acadian exclamation as its title, which is derived from a euphemistic variant of a French blasphemous expression . Renaud worked for the Supply and Services in Shediac and lives in Haute-Aboujagane, NB.
