Eddy Boudreau
1914-1954

Eddy Boudreau was born in Petit-Rocher (NB) in 1914. He was orphaned at the age of 4 and from the age of 14, stricken with a disease that crippled him. At the age of 25 (1940) he was admitted to the Hospice Saint-Antoine, in Quebec where he devoted himself to writing. He died there on 9 April 1954. During his lifetime, he published two works: La vie en croix (1948) and Vers le triumph (1950). In addition to these collections of poems, he published numerous articles in the newspapers in Evangeline.
