Emma Louise Estey
1861-1913

Emma Louise (nee Spurden) Estey was born in Fredericton, NB in 1861. She married Henry G. Estey, a teller with the People's Bank, on 5 June 1883. She wrote two books for the American Baptist Pub. Society, Philadelphia:  Walter Harley’s Conquest: A Story (1889) and Three Little Girls and their Motto (1893). She wrote under the names E.L.S.E., Mrs. Henry Guilford Estey and Emma Louisa Spurden. Estey died in Saint John in 1913 and is buried in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery.
