Huguette Légaré
1948-

Originally from Quebec City, married an Acadian and moved to Bathurst, NB in 1972. She won the Prix du Cercle du Livre de France for her novel La Conversation entre hommes in 1973 and first prize in a Maritime drama-writing competition for Les Criquets ous la neige in 1975.  By 1981 she had published four collections of poems the last one being Brun marine (1981).
