"E.R. Forbes, 1940-2015: A Bibliography"

An authority on Atlantic Canadian history, Forbes worked throughout his academic career to overturn entrenched ideas about the region. He wrote extensively about the Maritime Rights Movement and argued that the federal system had, since Confederation, worked consistently in favour of the large provinces to the detriment of the Maritimes. Forbes taught at the University of New Brunswick from 1974 to 2000 and was appointed professor emeritus in 2001. Th bibliography is preceded by a tribute to Forbes authored by Core Slumkoski.
