Duschenes was a prominent architect in Saint John. Here he lays out general planning principles for a modern home. Photographs and the floor plans are included of two New Brunswick houses that the author designed through the Saint John/Montreal firm Ross, Fish, Duschenes and Barrett: the Dr. T. Foster house in Saint John and the Cameron house in Kingston.
