Description
Dumaresq moved to Saint John after the Great Fire of 1877 to help rebuild the city. One of the most important architects in 19th-century New Brunswick, he designed the Legislative Assembly budling in Fredericton (1880-82), as well as many other structures in Saint John and the capital city.
